Preface

I usually do my work at class and I never get great ideas for my poem. So later I thought about my daily life routine and noticed, that I can be writing about this. Like when I can’t think about any good ideas. So I wrote about how you would feel while brainstorming and how frustrated your feel trying to think about something. Some of my poems are from my life events like, when I was wearing my favorite heels. My feet were in pain and I felt desperate of taking my heels off. These kinds of things that happed to my life are what I wrote about. I know that it could relate to some people. I try to do my best by showing expression and scenes to describe how it feels or what it is like. The most inspired work is “White Blank”. It is because every time I’m in my English class, I can’t think of anything to write about. The people who inspired me the most are the people around me. This is because the way we live is so common that nobody notice about it. The events are everyday situation. Our environment is important to us so I wrote about that too. I wrote about when season changes people change too. I value in my writing process was life our environment. How people has different taste of having fun.
In the 6 trait of writing, I have learned a lot. For ideas, you would lean that you have to make you poem clear and focused in one topic. It should also be concise. The idea should show an understanding about your topic. It should be well identified when your write about something. It should give images to you when you read it.
The convention is usually to see if you have any grammar errors are there or if there is anything wrong with your sentence. If it is appropriate for the audience. Is it formatted correctly? If your sentence show the images to you when you read it. If it grabs the reader’s attention.
The organization is really important. Your poem should be understood by each step you make. When you are writing a poem the next sentence should smoothly move on to another subject for your topic. To make your poem easy to understand there should be an guide to show the main ideas. There should be creativity to show understanding. It should be compelling and strong and a satisfying ending.
Your voice is to compel the people when they hear the poem. To make them want to share it with other people aloud. It should show passion and honesty. It should show a confident voice when people are reading it. It should be balanced with personal touch.
The words you pick are your word choice. The word choice should be good. To show the enthusiasm and the energy about a topic. The right words would help your poem to become compelling and suits the audience to read it. It should be distinctive and make a balance in the poem.The sentence fluency should be smooth. To make your poem easy to read. For an enhancing voice. To make your sentence structure meaningful and readable. No run –on no problems for people to see. To have the correct key points to your poem.
